How about expanding the realm of what you can do to include leatherwork? Spend the evening hand sewing a card case with our tools and expert instruction and you can walk away with your own wallet, made by you.
After seven years of designing and sewing our own products completely in house - Joshu+Vela is ready to introduce our very first class! We pride ourselves on attention to detail, quality not only in construction and materials, but in the design and how it interacts with the person making each item and their machinery. Ready to take what we have learned and help spread the love, we are introducing the Hand Stitched Leather Card Case Class.
The class will be co-taught by founder of Joshu+Vela, Noah Guy and expert in hand stitching, Felipe Simoes. Felipe has spent the last ten years studying the art and craft of hand leatherwork in London, Portland, Japan and New York. He has worked for Koji Suzuki in Tokyo, Jean Rousseau of Paris and with a variety of products from leather shoes to fine leather watch bands. Felipe brings deep skill and experience and will assist you one-on-one.
